Carmela DeMatteis Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2023, at the age of 101, Carmela DeMatteis (Struthers, Ohio), born in Boyers, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Berardino Grilli and Guissipina Grilli (Puzzuti); her husband Ubaldo DeMatteis; her son Gabriel DeMatteis; and her siblings, Dominic, John, Mario, Albert Grilli and Elizabeth Scarsella.

She is survived by: her son Richard DeMatteis (Tressa) of Hubbard; her daughter-in-law Kay DeMatteis of Medina; her grandchildren, Renee Kegg (Bruce), Gabrielle Hurst (Christopher), Drue DeMatteis and Leslie Kimble (Kenneth); her sister Michelina Retort of Toledo; and her sister-in-law Angeline Grilli of Florida. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
