She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oliver and Gertie Ruth Simpson (Menear). She is survived by: her husband Ernest Gibson Sr.; her son James Gibson; her daughter-in-law Chris Gibson (Davidson); her children, Ernest Gibson Jr., Penny Jones (Mark) and Linda Sferra (Ed); and her brother George Simpson. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren.
