She was predeceased by: her sister Catherine Fischer (Dan); and her parents, Edward Kapelewski and Irene Kapelewski. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Blum (Mark) and Jim Rygiel (Tammy); her siblings, Barbara Yonek (Andrew), Cynthia Wathey (Mark) and Gregory Kapelewski (Theresa); and her grandchildren, Lyndsay, Connor Blum, Alyssa and Matthew Rygiel.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jardine Funeral Home (15822 Pearl Rd, Strongsville, OH 44136). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (12700 Pearl Rd, Strongsville, OH 44136).
