He was predeceased by: his son Paul M. Warner; and his siblings, Mabel Bennett Sponaugle, Arlie Warner (Vera), Ollie Johnston (Cletis), Roy Warner (Kathryn), Ray Warner (Nola), Dewitt Warner, Charles Warner (Betty) and Merle "Buck" Warner.

He is survived by: his daughter Paula Jean "P. J." Warner; his grandchildren, Cooper Schimpff and Charlotte Schimpff; and his sister Priscilla Mullenax (late Brooks).
