He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Brooks and Muriel Brooks; his wife Dora DeBorde; his son Todd Brooks; and his siblings, Mary Fulmer, Evelyn Burge and Wayne Brooks.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Brooks and Sheri Sichter (Jim); and his grandchildren, Michael Sichter, Nathan Sichter (Mariko), Jennie Davis (Justin) and Ryan Brooks. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
