For Joan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her son Jeffrey Applegate. She is survived by: her son Brandon Applegate; her grandchildren, Hayden Applegate and Alia Applegate; her daughter-in-law Dawn Applegate (Tuckerman); her siblings, Georgiana Mynatt, Faith Perkins, Paul Sterling and Steven Sterling; and her former husband Thomas Applegate.
