It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Shelton Evans of Strongsville, Ohio, who passed away on May 25, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George S. Evans Sr. and Mary Evans (Appleton); his wife Gertrude "Pat" Evans (Patterson); and his siblings, John, Sherman, James, Wilford, Ben Evans, Helen Wolfe, Marjorie Fox, Esther Fox, Mathilda Allison and Gladys Evans.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Smith (Bob) of Strongsville, OH, Keith Evans (Carol), Jeannette and Ken Evans (Jan); and his grandchildren, Jeff, David, Kevin Smith, Heather Dyer, Bob Evans, Kimee Schmader, Chad Burns, Heather Ciarelli, Shaleen Albin, Craig Evans, Kendra McNutt and Wade Evans. He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
