He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hastings and Nora Hastings; his son-in-law Pete Kuglin; his brother-in-law Joseph Mc Cluskey; his nephew Kevin McCluskey (Bud Leonard); and his grandson Marcus Phinizee.
He is survived by: his spouse JoLynn Hastings; his children, Pat Hastings-Kuglin, Brian Hastings (Sharon) and Stephanie Phinizee; his grandchildren, Erin Raymont (Brian), Jarrod Kuglin, Gabrielle Hastings (Alex Davis), Colin Kuglin (Jessica), Joe Hastings and Anne Hastings; his great grandchildren, Jenna, Ellenora and Benjamin Raymont; and his siblings, Mary McCluskey, Tom Hastings and Norine Hastings. He is also survived by family, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home of Berea Monday (86 Adalbert St, Berea, OH 44017). The inurnment was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at the All Souls Cemetery (10366 Chardon Rd, Chardon, OH 44024).
