She was predeceased by: her parents, James Speck and Lula Maie Speck (Stewart); her husband Franklin Brooks; and her siblings, Dorothy Bradford, Ailene Morrow, Jean Gamble, Lorene Watkins, Charles Speck, James Speck and Bob Speck.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Brooks, Charles Brooks, Elizabeth Spears (David) and Cynthia Moore (Scott); her grandchildren, Jessica Weimer (Mike), Jeffrey Brock (Katy), Sarah Moore, Elisha Brooks (Samantha), Joshua Brooks, Zachary Moore and Terrance Brooks; her great grandchildren, Felix Steele, Cooper Brock and Chloe Brock; and her sisters, Julia Clark (Junior) and Judy Cannon.
