She was predeceased by: her parents, Lytle Fultz and Dora Fultz; her husband Jerry Pobuda; and her siblings, Wayne Fultz, Joyce Sossa, Kathleen DeLong, Norma McCloud and Janice Fleming.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Summerhill (Gary), Barbara Lester (Clark), Consuelo Sindelar (Joseph III) and Joseph Cermak (Traci); her grandchildren, Daniel Summerhill (Nicole), Emily Harmer (Connor), Paige Baedke, Matthew Lengel, Melissa Cermak, Bryce York, Anthony Sindelar and Isabella Sindelar; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Harmer and Caden Harmer.

In lieu of flowers, Shirley kindly requested family and friends make donations to the American Cancer Society.
