He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Pernell and Sarah Pernell. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Shannon Yanoff (late Nick) of Aurora and Stacey Pernell of Akron; his grandchildren, Matthew Taft of Aurora, Lindsay Yanoff of Aurora, Madison Yanoff of Aurora and Jackson Boysza of Aurora; and his sisters, Marilyn Pernell and Sandra Shirey (Robert).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Robert's name to either Autism Speaks, Humane Society of Summit County, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
