He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas C. Tiearney and Miriam Tiearney (Lucht); and his brother Thomas Tiearney (Marilyn). He is survived by: his wife Denise Tiearney (Williard); his children, Mark Tiearney, Jr. and Alexa Smiddle (Kyle); his stepdaughter Jennifer Rundo (Nathan); his grandchildren, Angelina and Airella Smiddle; his stepgrandchildren, Emily, Brandon, Samuel, David and Sarah Shore; his stepgreat-granddaughter Zoe Shore-Kirchens; his sister Lynne Mansfield (Mike); and his sister-in-law Becky Tiearney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church.
