It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Zella Smitley of Streetsboro, Ohio, who passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bruce and Kathryn Bruce; her husband William Smitley (Bill); her daughter Candace Rutkus (Robert); her son-in-law Ronald Oliver; and her siblings, Pauline, Nancy, Frank Jr., George, Robert and Charles.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Oliver (Ronald) and Aimee Ek (Bill); her grandchildren, Rachael Dibiase (Jeff), John Evanoff (Jessi), Kendra Ek and Jaden Ek; her great grandchildren, Kaylee Grootegoed (Logan) and Alex Evanoff; her great great grandchild Jolie Grootegoed; and her brother Lawrence Bruce (Sharon) of Minnesota.
