He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell Elam (Mary) and Mary Elam of Kentucky; his wife Barb (Shea); his sons, Shawn and Jesse Elam; his daughter-in-law Noriko Elam; his grandsons, Kai and Rui Elam; his brother Larry Elam; his brother-in-law Jim Davis; his sister Sheila Davis; and his sister-in-law Sue Elam. He was also cherished by nephews, nieces, cousins, and their families and friends.
