She was predeceased by: her husbands, Henry A. Defer, Sr. and William G. Simon, Sr.; her sons, Henry A. Defer, Jr. and David M. Defer; and her siblings, Lucille, Jean, Gale and Albert.
She is survived by: her sons, Chuck Defer (Deb) of Hiram and Mark Defer (Christine Thompson) of Aurora; and her grandchildren, Mary E. Defer, David A. Defer and Elizabeth Ward.
