He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd George and Alma Cook George. He is survived by: his wife Donna Renner George; his daughter Kelly Henry (Dave) of Dover; his sister Zoa Torgler of New Philadelphia; and his nieces, Ellen Stewart (Steve) and Karen Dunfee.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John United Church of Christ or to Community Hospice.
