He was predeceased by: his parents, Zane Brugger and Marlene Brugger (Hanni). He is survived by: his wife Vicki Frutig; his children, Joel Brugger of Navarre, Tiffany Neidenthal of Canton, Tara Barr (Chris) of New Philadelphia, Jonathan Brugger (Kathryn) of Dover, Angela Shetler (Jason McWilliams) of Newcomerstown and Branden Barney (Samantha) of Dundee; his grandchildren, Brittany Duke, Brandon Neidenthal, Brooke Withers, Nicholas Barr, Bethany Barr, Nathaniel Barr, Jacob Abrigg, Lucille Brugger, Deegan Barney, Eliza Brugger, Hudson Barney and Lincoln Brugger; and his siblings, Donald Brugger (Sheryl), Justine Stefanko (Gary) and Bruce Brugger (Cassie). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith-Varns Funeral Home (115 Andreas Dr NE, Sugarcreek, OH 44681). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wooster Highway Church of God in Dover, Ohio.
