He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford K. Swift and Leota Swift (Whetzel). He is survived by: his wife Norma Kimmell; his grandchildren, Nathan, Natalia and Matthew Layman (Trisha); and his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Isaac, Isabella Layman, Lane Moore, Page, Holden Maffei, Falynn Gibson, Audrianna and Nolan Layman.
