She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack E. Sims, and Lillian Margaret Sims, Sr. (Kessler); and her brother Gary Sims. She is survived by: her husband Richard A. "Rick" Espenschied; her children, Kevin Espenschied (Brittany) of Strasburg, Shannon Kettenring (Shawn) of Kentucky and Melissa Espenschied of Dover; her grandchildren, Amelia, Eliza, Ollie, Ava, Penelope, Lincoln, Luca and Scarlett; and her siblings, Sandy Cox, Jack Sims, Jr. (Christine), Renee Jackson (Dan) and Nancy Homan (Mark). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Geib Funeral Center (5600 N Wooster Ave, Dover, OH 44622). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
