He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward C. Bower and Anna Marie Bower (Snyder); his son Jim; and his siblings, Keith, Virgil Bower, Lois Kron and Kaye Shaffer.
He is survived by: his wife Suzie Harding; his children, Larry Bower (Deb) of New Phila, Shawn Bower (Sue) of Chillicothe, Missy Wright (Doug) of Holly Springs, MS and Tracey Symons (Dirk) of Miami, FL; his daughter-in-law Lori Cua of New Phila; his grandchildren, Jeremy Bower (Chantelli) of Lincoln, NE, Mindy Bianco (Kyle) of Chillicothe, OH, Stacey Caressi (Matt) of Chillicothe, OH, Zachary Jones (Brittney) of Miami, FL, Spencer Jones (Samantha) of Miami, FL, Christopher Anderson of Miami, FL, Tatum Symons (Josh) of Miami, FL, Calli Symons of Miami, FL, Cole Symons of Miami, FL, Alyssa Symons of Miami, FL, Katie Cua (Sean) and Canton; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Bower of Bolivar, Don Harding of Largo, FL and Ron Harding (Deb) of Richville, VA; his close friends, Jack and Bob; and his pet Bailey. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
