He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis E. Miller and Emma D. Miller (Hershberger); and his siblings, Lovina, Lena, Mary, Daniel and Levi.

He is survived by: his children, Travis Miller (Kimi Riley) of Strasburg and JoEllen Sanders (Jeremy) of New Philadelphia; his grandson Duncan Sanders; and his siblings, Anna Wincek (Robert), Fannie Yoder (Andy), Elmer Miller (Mary) and Edna Miller (Menno). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; and his many friends.
