It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Jay Strauss of Strasburg, Ohio, born in Dover, Ohio, who passed away on October 30, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Strauss and Evelyn Strauss (Gross); and his brother Arthur. He is survived by: his children, Tara Marie Howard (Larry) of Dover and Johnathon David Strauss (Jeneal) of New Philadelphia; his fiancée Cynthia McDonald Airhart of Strasburg; and his siblings, Richard Strauss (Terri) of Lodi, Ronda Renner of Strasburg and Colleen Everett (Bud) of New Philadelphia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
