It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Hendershot of Strasburg, Ohio, who passed away on April 23, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Hendershot and Nellie Hendershot (Book); his wife Bonnie Lee Baker; his brother Irvin Hendershot; his mother-in-law Gladys Baker; and his brother-in-law Gary Meininger.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Himes (Donnie) of Zoarville, Jim Hendershot (Amy) of New Philadelphia and Doug Hendershot (Lindsey Recco) of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Kaci Himes, Morgan Greenwood (Cory), Whitney Hendershot, Brynn Hendershot, Tyler Hendershot and Paiten Hendershot; his great grandchild Brooks Greenwood; his siblings, Carl Hendershot (Tinia), Merv Hendershot (Jean), Judy McNutt (Chuck) and Carol Meininger; and his pet Zoe Girl.
