With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward R. Yackey of Strasburg, Ohio, born in Dover, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Yackey and Twyla Yackey (Maus). He is survived by: his children, Carla Schauer (Paul), Kyle Yackey (Mary) and Kendra Wolgamott; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Brynna, Aric Schauer, Carson, Kiera Yackey, Logan and Nora Wolgamott; his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Gatling and Yvonne Plummer; his nephews, Nathaniel Gatling and Vijay Karode; and his niece Kara Dooley.
