Slater of Strasburg, Ohio, born in Millersburg, Ohio, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Pretzeus and Margaret "Nadine" Pretzeus (Welling); her husband David K. Slater; her brother Eugene Pretzeus; and her sister-in-law Rebecca "Becky" Pretzeus.
She is survived by: her children, Michele Rennicker (Andrew) of Dover and Matthew Burris (Deloris) of Quaker City; her grandchildren, Brianna Regoli (Greg), Alexis Burris, Lauren Rennicker, Tori Burris, Nicolas Burris, Emma Rennicker and Natalie Rennicker; her great grandchild Sutton Regoli; her brothers, Forrest Pretzeus (Joanne "Jo") of Colorado and Robert Pretzeus of Sugarcreek; and her sister-in-law Loretta Pretzeus of Concord Township.
