He was predeceased by: his wife Hatsue Wolber (Osera); and his sister Beverly Faudree. He is survived by: his parents, Samuel Sr and Lenora Wolber, Sr. (Dingman); his daughters, Mayumi Vaughn (Darren) and Susana Walker (John II); and his grandchildren, Alexander Vaughn and Cassaundra Vaughn.
