He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Slagle and Elsie Slagle; and his brother Fred Slagle. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Slagle; his sons, Jeffrey Slagle (Mary) and Jerold Slagle (Michelle); his stepsons, Joseph Jr. Cambria (Dana) and Mathew Dunkelberger (Sarah); his sisters, Sheryl Delaney (Bill) and Lisa Tomkiewicz (Charles); his grandchildren, Lyndsy Slagle, Emily Warnock, Ethan Slagle and Joseph Cambria III; and his great grandchildren, Madisyn Slagle, James Warnock, Gus Brömme, Elsie Warnock, Joseph Cambria IV and Carter Cambria.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Cancer Research of your choice in honor of Jerry's great-grandson Baby "G".
