She was predeceased by: her husband Edward J. Smerk, Jr.; her parents, Gaston E. Hunt and Ruby E. Hunt; her siblings, Pat Ulmer, Richard, Lenn and Glenn; and her children, Mark Smerk and Jennifer Movens.
She is survived by: her siblings, David Hunt and Evelyn VanDeVeer (Tom); her children, David (Jackie), Sherry, Andy (Kerri) and Buddy; and her grandchildren, Mitchell, Ryan, Andrea Phillips (Jenna), Alex (Hannah), Tony (Amanda), BJ, Jared Movens, Joseph Kesler (Jessica), Amanda Stebner (Blake), Ashley, Sage, Kane, Erica Tucker, Victoria, Derrick and Samantha. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, and numerous friends and family.
