Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Shappard (Stoutsville, Ohio), born in Marion, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 72, on August 17, 2019. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Shappard and Lucy Shappard (Ballard); and his brothers, Robert, Richard and Larry Shappard.

He is survived by: his wife Jo Shappard (Schaef); his sons, Kenneth (Janet) and Brian Shappard; his stepsons, Matthew and Gregory Nenadal (Candace); his grandchildren, Ethan, Hannah, Abigail, Mercedez, Tierra and Grayson; and his stepgrandchildren, Samantha and Trevor.
