She was predeceased by: her parents, Vorest "Harold" and Donna E Snider (Shaffer); and her sister Joan Bowers. She is survived by: her husband Douglas C Monteith; her children, Douglas Monteith (Melinda) of Urbana, Ohio, Jennifer Shurte (Matt) of Beavercreek, Ohio and Julia Foster (David) of Cincinnati; and her sister Eileen Ruth (Richard) of Anderson, Indiana. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
