She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewran Jacob Bryant and Elizabeth Rachel Bryant (Brown); her husband Bernard Elrod; her son Steven D. Elrod; and her brothers, Leon and Lester Bryant.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Elrod of Portsmouth and Catherine Liddle of West Portsmouth; her daughter-in-law Janice Elrod of Stout; and her grandchildren, Dewran, Michael, Michelle, Jonathan, Johnathan "Chip", Shawnda (Matthew), Elizabeth Rose and Amanda Cooper. She is also survived by six great-grandsons.
