He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Evans and Betty McGinn Evans; his granddaughter Lindsey Keenan; and his grandparents, John and Lilly McGinn.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Richards Evans; his children, George "Richie" Evans and Kimberly Sue Evans; his granddaughter Georgia Noah Evans; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Lillie and Lainey Keenan.
