We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2022, at the age of 90, Evelyn Louise Shekels of Stout, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Chaffin and Audrey Kitchen Chaffin; her husband Franklin Theodore Shekels; her daughter Tanesa Shekels; her siblings, Margaret Waddell, Esther Hauth, Delores Pack and Shirl Rulh; and her son-in-law Bobby Lawson.
She is survived by: her children, Lin Shekels (Karen), Tim Shekels (Tammy) and Tami Lawson; and her grandchildren, Josh Lawson (Sarah), T. J. Lawson (Erica), Crystal Stone, Nathan Stevens (Tosh), Ashley Buckle (Jeremy), James Long, Tara Steele and Lexie Doddridge. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Riverview Wesleyan Church.
