She was predeceased by: her parents, MaeBelle Pollard (Polley) of Stout and William Verax of Stout; her children, Christopher Don Cox and Rachel Nacole Cox; and her siblings, Johnny, William Verax (Dean), Christine Spires and Rosemary Verax.
She is survived by: her niece Rhonda Riggs of Mt Orab; her siblings, Sandra Verax and Steve Verax of Stout; her nieces and nephews, Candice Brooks (Junior) of West Union and Michalea Setty of West Union; her grandchildren, Kelsea Swords (Jeff) of Portsmouth, Karemiah Brooks of Wilmington, Bryce Brickey of Portsmouth and Gage Williams of West Union; her great grandchild Greylen Swords; and her close friend Sarah Smith of Portsmouth. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
