He was predeceased by: his father Boyd Payne; and his siblings, Jack Payne and Cuba Piatt. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Payne of McDermott; his daughters, Tonya Dodd (David) of Stockport and Tammy Montgomery of Stockport; and his sisters, Kay Collins of McDermott, Karlene Ruggles of Wheelersburg and Karla Craft of Portsmouth. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
