He was predeceased by: his parents, Damon Cooper and Opal Mills Cooper; his brother Jim Cooper; his wife Dorothy Eldridge Cooper; his parents-in-law, Edith and William Eldridge; his siblings-in-law, Dean Mills and Ellen Eldridge; his niece Dorianna Kraps; and his nephew Billy Eldridge.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marlene Mills, Vicki Kraps and Jerry Cooper (Norma); his daughters, Roxbury Hill, Dee Counts (Kyle), Darla Schwendeman (Glen) and Dawn Nesselroad (Eric); his grandchildren, Erin Brown (Nick), Dallas Schwendeman (Taylor Gormley), Kole Counts (Megan Weekley), Deric and Dani Nesselroad; his great grandchildren, Rhett Brown and Brenlynn Counts; his girlfriend Joann Wallace; his cousin Joann; and his pet Shadow.
