He was predeceased by: his parents, Warrior A. Coleman and Ada C. Bennett Coleman; and his brother Donald Coleman. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Pinkerton (Joe) of Palmer, Kelly Bosner of Stockport and Jamie Coleman of Stockport; his grandchildren, Katie Sams (Taylor), Jacob Bosner, Jonathan Bosner (Lynna), Kelsie Bosner (Steven), Gavin Coleman and Grace Coleman; his close friend Connie Krause; his pet Ollie; and his brothers, Richard Coleman (Patsy) and Ronald Coleman (Dixie) of Stockport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dale United Methodist Church.
