With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Eckert of Stockport, Ohio, born in Medina, Ohio, who passed away on October 13, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Eckert and Phyllis Hanson Eckert; and his siblings, Kathleen Stocker, Patricia Keppler, Robert Eckert, David Evans and Edwin Ted Eckert.

He is survived by: his wife Irene Gilchrist Eckert; his sons, Stephen Eckert (Kimberly) of Gahanna and William Eckert (April) of Boardman; his grandchildren, Ryan and Millie; his siblings, Nancy Starling (Stan) of Chesterhill, Ruth Cunningham (Kenneth) of Stockport, Norma Jean Scott of Chesterhill, Donald Eckert (Jan) of Stockport, Richard Eckert (Thelma) of Hackney and James Eckert (Sue) of Nevada; and his sister-in-law Ardeth Eckert of Stockport.
