He was predeceased by: his father Sam Johnson; his wife Mildred Lucille Minnix; his stepmother Bonnie Pell Johnson; and his siblings, Kathryn Craig, Beatrice Coldiron, Olive Minnix, Nora Williams, Dianna Dunn, Clarence Johnson, Ralph Johnson, Earl Johnson and William Johnson.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Johnson (Mary), Tim Johnson and Scott Johnson (Charlotte) of Stockdale; his grandchildren, Amanda Roberts (Dave), Jared Johnson (Morgan), Tiffany Collins (Dave) and Trace Sloan (Tierra); his great grandchildren, Cora, Kelsey Roberts, Jayvid Barker, Abby and Aiden Collins; and his siblings, Sue Pegg (Steve) and Paul Johnson.
