He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt DeLong and Floellen DeLong; his former wife Judy DeLong; his granddaughter Kathryn Curtis; and his siblings, Cleo Williams, Esther Gilroy, Cassie Bicknel, Hilda Riffet, Marion, Earl and Jessie Martin DeLong.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene DeLong (Homan); his children, Shawna Curtis (John) of Brunswick, Ryan DeLong (Peggy) of Salineville, Len Thompson (Judy) of Lisbon, Sheryle Reynolds (Kurt) of Lisbon and John Thompson of Lisbon; his grandchildren, Devon DeLong, Colin Curtis, Crystal Kliner, Brian Reynolds, Melody Reynolds, Ashley Cosma and Jacob Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Marcus, Trenton, Blake and Eric Ryan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
