He is survived by: his children, Barbara Gennert of Dover, Janice Brawley of Athens and Michael Brawley (Debbie) of Athens; his grandchildren, Tiiu Gennert of Cleveland, Zara Gennert (Glenn Burke) of Cleveland and Bayard Gennert (Melissa) of Shorewood, Minnesota; his brother-in-law Charles Stengel; his niece Carolyn High (Curtis) of Beaver Creek; and his son-in-law David Gennert of Dover, Ohio.. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
