He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lucas and Marie Harris Lucas; his siblings, Martha Lucas, Maxine Dansby, Jenny McCune, Archie Lucas and Joe Lucas; his nephew Jack; and his nieces, Teresa, Marina, Renie and Rita.
He is survived by: his pet Marley; and his siblings, Blanche Hill, Anne Mayle (Junior), Sue Flowers, Bell Teetsel, Mary Thompson (William), Bessie Francis, Minnie Alexander (Lance), Allen Lucas (Melinda) and Frank Mayle (Margaret). He is also survived by 17 nieces, 13 nephews, 90 great nieces and nephews and numerous great great nieces and nephews.
