He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Saxton and Emma Waters Saxton; his wife Marsha Saxton; his children, L'Tanya Whatley (Tammy) and Lamont Whatley; and his brothers, Leon, LeRoy, John and Freddie Saxton.
He is survived by: his sons, Bryan, Eric and Terrance Whatley; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Whatley of Steubenville, OH; and his siblings, Leola Wilkerson, Ethel Harris and Ernest Saxon. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
