He was predeceased by: his father R. C. Johnson; his stepfather Melvin Luke; his sister Chellece Wade; and his grandparents, Florence Jackson Gavin, William and Gladys Wade.
He is survived by: his mother Stephanie Wade; his daughter Brittany Peace; and his sisters, Porsha Dotson, Mona Wade McIntyre, Nanette Taylor and Louise Carter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
