She was predeceased by: her parent Venance Checkler. She is survived by: her parent Katherine Broyles Checkler; her husband Larry Herman; her son Mark Mieczkowski (Jessica) of Riverside, IL; her stepson Barry Herman (Terri) of Laurel, MD; her brother Jerry Checkler of Steubenville; her grandchildren, John, Zach and Joe Mieczkowski; and her nephews, Carlo, Anthony and Angelo Canella.
