She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Bane and Mary Frances Bane (Steen); and her siblings, Charles "Charlie" Bane, Ernest "Sonny" Bane, Herman Bane and Barbara Green.
She is survived by: her husband Edwin Hood; and her children, Tina Zook (Tom) of Wintersville, OH, Patrick McLaughlin of Steubenville, OH and Michael McLaughlin of Steubenville, OH. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
