With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James McCartney of Steubenville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 22, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James McCartney to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward McCartney and Georgianne Linn McCartney; his sister Marilyn K. Johnson; his wife Theresa Kelley McCartney; and his close friend Laverne B Neeley.
He is survived by: his children, Kelley Zebrasky (Frank) of Canonsburg, PA, Marilyn (Sis), Andy Richardson, James E. (Jim) and Mary McCartney; his grandchildren, Zachary Zebrasky (Leah), Zane Zebrasky (Sasha), Kaitlyn Hickle (Bob), Andrew Richardson (Charlee), Dr. Samantha Richardson (Dylan Schaffer), James (Jerry), Shyla McCartney and Madison McCartney; his great grandchildren, Bobby, Libby Hickle, Jack, Lucy Zebrasky, ZJ, Zia Zebrasky, Jacen Richardson and Daisy McCartney; his sister-in-law Anne E. Nolan; and his caregiver Kristen Hamelin. He is also survived by six nieces.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations be made to John King Mussio Elementary School c/o The McCartney Family Scholarship.
