She was predeceased by: her father John F. Kugler; her siblings, Johnny Lee, Billy Jo Kugler and Louann McElwain; and her nephew Leo Melvin Kugler Jr..
She is survived by: her mother Donna M. Kugler (Clark); her husband Donald Nelson; her children, Betty Burch, Sheila Pinkerton (Jeff), Nona Steigerwald (Pete), K. Robert Nelson (Karen) and Anna Anglin (Tommy); and her siblings, Jimmy Kugler (Missy), Leo Kugler (Marisa), Debra Hatfield (Cody), Nona Woodland and Jodi Thomoson (Patrick). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
