She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Henderson and Theodore Henderson; her husband Clement Carey; and her sister Naomi. She is survived by: her sister Janet; and her daughter Denise L. Carey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
More importantly, she unselfishly gave her time and money to people in need, donating to various charities.
