He was predeceased by: his parents, James Zerla and Stella Sokoll Zerla; and his wife Patricia Anne Barata Zerla. He is survived by: his girlfriend Georgianna Aivaliotis; his children, Terrance Zerla (Christine Cervanek), Wendy Torres (Greg) and Aimee Rupert (David); and his brothers, Frederick Zerla (late Helga) and Robert Lyle Zerla (late Connie).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 9:30 AM. A vigil service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 6:45 PM at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home (215 Fernwood Rd, Wintersville, OH 43953). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (852 Main St, Wintersville, OH 43953).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Alan's name to the American Cancer Society or to Primetime Senior Services Attn.
